Double Victory for Atatise at Provincial Qualifiers
We have our qualifier for the 2024 Ontario Amateur and Mid-Amateur Championships. Congratulations to Robert Atatise (Whitewater GC) on his dual qualification.
Robert has qualified for the 102nd Ontario Men’s Amateur Championship, which will be played on June 24-27, 2024 at St. Catherine’s Golf and Country Club. He will also represent the TBDGA at the Ontario Men’s Mid-Amateur Championship, which will be played on July 29-31, 2024 at North Bay Golf and Country Club. Robert’s score of 71 secured himself a two-shot victory over Jack Moro (Whitewater GC). Robert started quickly, completing the front nine in just 34 strokes. Although two bogeys at the turn allowed players like Jack Moro, Nathan Lepore, Jordan Sinclair and Hayden Hickey to close in, Robert steadied himself and finished strong to claim the win.
