Hall of Fame
The Thunder Bay District Golf Hall of Fame was created in 2007 and is located inside the clubhouse at Chapples Golf Course. The purpose of the Hall of Fame is to acknowledge, honour, and preserve the memory of those inducted. The Hall of Fame honours two categories of individuals:
- Players for their significant on-course achievements; and
- Builders for their contributions to the game of golf in the Thunder Bay District.
Players will be judged on their competitive records in TBDGA tournaments, as well as any provincial, national, or professional-level events.
Builders are individuals, such as administrators, volunteers, and golf professionals, who have made a significant and positive contribution to the game of golf.
The Hall of Fame is administered by the TBDGA under the direction of our Hall of Fame Committee. Together, the following individuals form our current Hall of Fame Committee:
- Hank Wilke, Director-at-Large and Former President of the TBDGA.
- Brian Mallon, Former Treasurer.
- Tony Stokaluk, Former Director-at-Large.
- Peter Campaner, Former Treasurer.
The TBDGA welcomes nominations from the public. To make a nomination, please click here for more information.
