Late Birdies help Kirk claim District Open
Congratulations to Jeremy Kirk on winning the 2021 AON District Open, his second District Open title. Jeremy shot a field-best score of 70 on Sunday to comeback and win by one stroke over Jamie DePeiro, who is recently back from a stint on the PGA Tour Canada. Although Jamie led by four strokes with eight holes to play, three consecutive birdies by Jeremy erased the deficit. A bogey by Jamie on the last hole ultimately handed Jeremy the victory. Evan Littlefield rounded out the top three.
Other notables included Evan DeGrazia, Walter Keating, and Jack Moro, who all finished in a tie for fifth.
