New Partnership with the Canadian Junior Golf Association
The Thunder Bay District Golf Association (TBDGA) is thrilled to announce its new partnership with the Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA).
CJGA ranking points will now be available to junior players who compete in the AON Ontario Junior Qualifier (June 5) and the Fountain Tire District Junior (September 1-2). These points will allow our players to access the CJGA's ranking system and to compete in the CJGA's GolfTec National Order of Merit. Point totals are based on a player's finish in each event.
The CJGA is Canada's leading junior golf development program. It provides junior golf events across Canada and now, for the first time ever, in the Thunder Bay District.
Our Junior Golf Convenor, Chris Gardner, stated, "The TBDGA is proud to be partnering with the CJGA. Our junior golfers are looking forward to this upcoming season and now, with this partnership, junior golf development and competitive spirit will be that much higher. The TBDGA is grateful for this opportunity."
